Theresa is a GIA (Gemological Institute of America) Graduate Gemologist whose passion began with pearls. Which is what brought her to Mass Oyster Project. She has served in many roles at Mass Oyster Project since 2010, including Board Member and President. Among her many accomplishments, degrees, and corporate career, she is the founder and owner of Treasure Bay Collections®️. With over 25 years of experience in the jewelry industry as a maker, designer, jewelry estate/collections appraiser, and consultant to museums and private collectors. She is also a published author. Theresa’s passion for giving back to her community, her work experience, and her desire to be in nature have given her the privilege to serve on many boards and as a volunteer in the Boston area, including the arts, fashion world, the environment, conservation and preservation, and health care for children.
