Emily Richardson is a marine biology research assistant at Northeastern University with experience in coastal ecology, shellfish biology, and climate change impacts on marine ecosystems. In 2026, she graduated from Wellesley College with degrees in Environmental Studies and Music. While at Wellesley, her research primarily focused on blue crab distribution, oyster ecology, their shell strength, and predator-prey interactions in Cape Cod. When she isn’t in the lab or surrounded by marine life, Emily is a harpist playing in orchestras across MA and NH, spending time with her family and friends, and doing puzzles.
