Erika Heyer-Watts joined the Massachusetts Oyster Project the summer of 2023 as a volunteer to manage its social media presence. She has over 10 years experience in the social media marketing space and is currently serving as the Social Media Manager for Otis Elevator Co. 

Erika is a Cape Cod girl through and through and cherishes its beauty and unique environment. She's using her background in social media to help spread the word of Mass Oyster's mission to help preserve the shorelines she holds close to her heart. When Erika is not in Connecticut, you can find her and husband and their dog Rooney in Chatham enjoying local oysters and time on Lighthouse Beach.
