Executive Director
Liv joined the Massachusetts Oyster Project as Executive Director in May 2023, bringing 20 years of experience in strategic planning, operations, and fundraising across healthcare, higher education, and nonprofit sectors. She spent nearly a decade in the strategic planning division and internal consulting group at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, most recently served as Director of Fundraising and Operations for the American Amputee Soccer Association, and has served on several nonprofit boards. She holds a B.A. from the University of Connecticut and an M.B.A. from Simmons School of Management. Liv is driven by engaging communities in the work of rebuilding oyster reefs and by helping people see how efforts like shell recycling restore the coastal ecosystems they depend on. She leads MOP’s efforts to build the organizational capacity, partnerships, and funding needed to advance reef restoration across Massachusetts.
