Mark Wixted

Advisory Board

Mark Wixted is a civil engineering consultant, advising public- and private-sector clients on transportation and development projects. During his 33-year career, Mark has worked with a range of industry-leading companies and institutions, including Mass General Brigham, Harvard, MIT, National Grid, Walmart, Target, and General Electric, as well as many large regional developers. He holds bachelor's degrees in civil engineering and political science from the University of Connecticut and is a registered civil engineer in Massachusetts. 

Mark enjoys the coastal environment of the north shore and Cape Cod. He joined Mass Oyster to help protect coastal areas, expand conservation programs, and navigate local permitting and land-use policies.
