Aidan Borkan

Aidan grew up in suburban Boston before spending 10 years in the Midwest and Colorado for higher education and biotech research. After returning to Massachusetts in 2025, he joined the Mass Oyster Project as a volunteer Data Analyst. He applies his background in biomedical data science to create interactive program data visualizations in Python and HTML for internal and external stakeholders.

Beyond his volunteer work, Aidan enjoys rock climbing, fishing, scuba diving, and exploring trails with his puppy, Mika.
