Description
Program Partners: Massachusetts Department of Fish & Game
Join us for a deep dive into innovative, on-the-ground solutions that demonstrate the power and possibility of restoring biodiversity everywhere and how investing and scaling these efforts will ultimately deliver a healthier, safer, and more livable world.
In 2023, Massachusetts Governor Maura Healey signed Executive Order No. 618, which called for the state to set nation-leading biodiversity conservation goals, including for coastal and marine environments, for 2030, 2040, and 2050. The Massachusetts Department of Fish & Game comprehensively reviewed existing global, national, and state efforts and embraced diverse public input to develop an ambitious, 25-year plan to rebuild biodiversity and invest in nature to sustain our health and well-being, food security, economy, and quality of life. In 2025, Massachusetts Governor Maura Healey announced the nation-leading Biodiversity Goals for Massachusetts. Learn more at mass.gov/biodiversity.
